Yes, folks, it’s true, today is indeed I Love Yarn Day. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, I’m having a today-only free shipping flash sale at my Etsy shop! Just go to the Knittique shop to get the discount code that’s in the shop announcement (under the Knittique banner). Then go find yourself all kinds of fibery fun (it’s good for you, after all), and when you check out, apply your discount code, which will automatically remove the shipping charges.

The Fade to Black skein

The fine print: The sale applies to yarn orders placed on Friday, October 12, 2012, between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight, Pacific time. Good only for orders shipping to the U.S.

For those of you who don’t yet know, one of the things I produce is a line of one-of-a-kind yarns; I create color palettes, then combine multiple strands of yarns and tie them together to form color and texture sequences. I also have a line of patterns I’ve designed and written specifically for these fabulous yarns. (See end of post for website links.) I also sell other high-quality, beautiful yarns at below-retail prices, and some of the one-of-a-kind samples created during my knitwear design process are also now for sale. Happy shopping!

Entrelac Pillow in Fade to Black

Entrelac Pillow in Fade to Black; this is one of my original designs, and the pattern, including full entrelac technique instructions, is available in my Etsy shop. And I have a tutorial for applying the ruffly trim right here on this blog!
